Our past Executive Director of over 10 years Penni Adams is retiring and moving to Calgary to be close to family. Penni has worked tirelessly over the years to develop a successfully operating organization, educating the community and managing programs to help eradicate invasive plants across BC’s northwest. It is with a heavy heart that we see her move on, but we wish her all the best in her “retirement”. Thank you Penni!
You may continue to see Penni around enjoying the outdoors and supporting the NWIPC in other ways!
We also take a moment to introduce the new Executive Director, Michelle Miller!
“Born and raised in Northern BC, I am excited to be apart of such a integral part of ensuring our environment and bio-diversity is protected. With a love for all kinds of outdoor recreation and local agriculture, I usually spend my spare time hiking and kayaking, or supporting the Farmers Institutes in the Prince George area, and working towards becoming a vegetable farmer. I am looking forward to continuing the incredible work the NWIPC has been doing for years to come!”
