Latin Name: Bassia scoparia

Identification

Growth Habit: An annual herb that grows rapidly to form large, bushy plants. It spreads by seed and can form dense stands, particularly in disturbed areas. In situ, kochia often appears as dense, bushy clumps of green to reddish foliage in open or disturbed habitats.
