The NWIPC's 12 Most Unwanted Weeds

Spotted knapweed

The "spotted" appearance of spotted knapweed is a result of black-tipped bracts on the flowerheads. Flowers are usually purple, but sometimes white, and found at the end of branches. Spotted knapweed is a perennial species and a prolific seed producer.
